Can LED technology revolutionize Stop Motion?

Always with a focus on the advancement of the sector, we firmly believe that every aspect of animation deserves attention and improvement, and Stop Motion is no exception. With this purpose in mind, Alfonso Fulgencio CTO of Next Lab recently visited Tangram Solutions to initiate this collaboration, where we had the privilege of working together with other Stop Motion professionals, such as David Castro González and Alejandro Ronda.

During this collaboration, we carried out a series of tests, incorporating technological elements such as state-of-the-art LED screens (provided by Tangram Solutions), to the traditional Stop Motion processes.  These tests not only allowed us to explore new creative possibilities, but also revealed significant savings in production times, improving efficiency without compromising artistic quality. This breakthrough not only promises to optimize workflow, but also opens new doors for future innovations.
