Rubén Fernández and Joaquín Martínez, winners of Next Lab 2021; and Víctor Monigote, participant in Next Lab 2022.
We talk to two of the winning projects from the first edition ("Protocolo Flambé" by Rubén Fernández and "Going Down" by Joaquín Martínez), who will tell us about their experiences and how their way of working has changed, what projects they are developing and what new opportunities the methodology learnt at the workshop has opened up for them. We will also talk to Víctor Monigote, participant of this edition with the project "Wan", who will explain the difficulties he has faced during the workshop, the challenges he has overcome, and those he has not.

Dan Franke, director and co-founding animator of Studio Syro.
Dan Franke is co-founder of Studio Syro, a virtual animation studio with an international team of designers, animators and developers who use the VR painting tool Quill to produce experiences both inside and outside of virtual reality. Dan will tell us about the advantages, but also the complexities, of producing animation with a production company model that is at the forefront of using the most innovative creative tools.
